Just completed an install of Snow Leopard (Mac OS X 10.6) over the top of Mac OS X 10.5 – and it was painless.
In an earlier post I talked about one of the pieces of software I had re-installed when I upgraded a MacBook Pro (MacBook at Amazon) to Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard) (Amazon Link)… namely, Skype.
I have just read over at the Apple Site in their ‘hot news‘ section that Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard) is delayed until October…
It appears that there is some good news, and some bad news, with the latest update of iPhoto (to 6.0.6). The good news is it supports latitude and longitude data and doesn’t destroy the data on editing. The bad news is, iPhoto still doesn’t seem to support user comments and information added to photos, it can’t be displayed, and is lost on export.
