Recently I had to send a MacBook Pro away to be fixed after a swollen battery damaged the machine. As work needs to be done a bottom of the line MacBook was bought.

Wow! That was scary!

I was just using my MacBook Pro when the ‘low battery’ warning came on. I found the power adapter and plugged it in to the wall socket, and then connected it to the Mac. At this point the screen went blank….

My new MacBook Pro has arrived. This is good news as it means final tests of MMISoftware programs can be completed.

With the switch of Mac to the intel chip set ‘old’ Mac OS X software will not run ‘natively’ but will need to be recompiled as universal binaries.

Just ordered one of the new MacBook Pros over at the AppleStore.

Looks like the laptop will be delivered some time in February. Should be interesting.
