Just looking through the list of 300+ new features in Leopard and spotted the following on ‘GPS’.

So Apple has just announced the release of Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard) as the 26th October 2007. So what does this mean for MMISoftware.
Well, this was a weird one…. If you do a search for ‘MMISoftware’ at Amazon (it only works at the US Amazon and not the UK
) you get a book – iPodpedia: The Ultimate iPod and iTunes Resource
.
Interesting comment over at http://wordpress.org (Wordpress is the software that powers this blog). Have they let the ‘cat out of the bag’ (pardon the bun as this may be Mac OS X Leopard related) over a new feature in a ‘yet to be releases’ Safari, or is there a feature in Safari I am not aware of?
There is a good tip over at Apple on how to view the exif (meta-data) of a photo that you have tagged with PhotoGPSEditor or PhotoInfoEditor. Such a simple tip, and something I do everyday without thinking about.
Backing up is a serious business. And at MMISoftware we like to keep backups of, well, everything. Over the years we have used a range of methods, including incremental backups to CDs and DVDs, but our current preferred method is to backup to external hard-drives and then remove them to a safe place…
Interesting post over at macgpscs1.blogspot is which they appear to have tracked the problem with a lack of support for the Sony GPS CS1 and PowerPC (PPC) Macs.
I have had quite a bit of traffic via the two articles on setting up a BT Home Hub with a Mac (see post), and about the resulting ‘virus’ that was reported (see post), with the ‘virus’ post attracting a very useful comment from ‘James’.
I have just read over at the Apple Site in their ‘hot news‘ section that Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard) is delayed until October…
An update of PhotoInfoEditor has just been released (download), and just like with PhotoGPSEditor a ‘nag’ screen has been added (see earlier post).
