Just a quick note for any ‘webmasters’ upgrading to Wordpress 2.8, and who are using WP Super Cache.

If your permissions are not set right on the wp-content folder, and you are running WP Super Cache, you will encounter a ‘500 Internal Server Error’ once you upgrade to Wordpress 2.8. This will only show up on the second load of the page when it is being pulled from the cache. So, to check make sure you do a couple of loads of a page.

The good news is this is easily fixable, and in fact the WP Super Cache alerts you to the problem, and tells you how to fix it….

Happy Blogging!
