News and views of Mac OS X and iPhone Programming

Well, last year MMISoftware started work on a number of applications for the iPhone and the iPod Touch.

The release of the 3G iPhone in the UK, and more importantly the release of iPhone SDK (xcode) meant that work could start on some iPhone and iPod touch applications…

The first two applications were finished around October 2009, but extensive testing showed they were really not suitable for launch. They showed some stability issues, which seemed to result from some of the limitation of the API (the code calls you ere allowed to use) in the SDK. These programs were shelved, but it is hoped they will ‘see the light of day’ later this year with the launch of new SDK and the new version (3.0) of the iPhone and iPod Touch operating systems.
