Tips accepted at MMISoftware

Running MMISoftware is not cheap… yes, we make money from selling software such as iCalMaker, yes we receive donations towards the development of PhotoInfoEditor and PhotoGPSEditor… and yes we have some ads on the blog… but, costs keep going up, so we thought we would sign up with TipIt.

TipIt launched just over a week ago, and the idea is that via their service you can leave tips for authors/owners of websites, or good causes, that have signed up with them… As they say:

“You consume great content online for free. You want authors to keep making this cool stuff. Why not show them your appreciation by giving them a small token? Tipit.to makes that possible.“

A number of our blog pages have handy hints for the Mac user, and we certainly get a lot of traffic from people looking for answers to Mac problems, so we thought we would give TipIt a go and see what happens… So, keep your eyes open on this blog, and around the internet, for ‘Like it? TipIt!‘ buttons just like the one below… (if anything does happen we will let you know on this blog!)
