News and views of Mac OS X and iPhone Programming

Well, this was a weird one…. If you do a search for ‘MMISoftware’ at Amazon (it only works at the US Amazon and not the UK) you get a book – iPodpedia: The Ultimate iPod and iTunes Resource.

Interesting comment over at http://wordpress.org (WordPress is the software that powers this blog). Have they let the ‘cat out of the bag’ (pardon the bun as this may be Mac OS X Leopard related) over a new feature in a ‘yet to be releases’ Safari, or is there a feature in Safari I am not aware of?

It is great when I get emails from users of PhotoInfoEditor and PhotoGPSEditor. Some emails are bug reports, some are suggestions, some are complaints, some are users complaining the programs are too cheap ;-) … anyway, what ever they are please keep them coming.

Interesting press release from Apple on the up and coming June Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) and Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard).

MMISoftware has just released a very very minor update to PhotoGPSEditor to correct a small bug introduced in version 1.5.3 which was released yesterday (read post). The bug (an unfortunate little so-and-so that slipped through the net) was very rare and would cause a crash at program start if, and only if, you had a photo that had ‘saved’ details in PhotoGPSEditor and that had then been moved (basically the program was running a check to make sure everything was where it had been left at quit and was throwing a ‘tizzy’ if it couldn’t find what it wanted!).
