Back on the 23rd Feb 2007 I post a piece on setting up a BT Home Hub with a Mac (the earlier post). Well, all has been going well, except for the occasional virus alert.
This was a blast from the past! A trip down memory lane! Over at TidBits they have published an article on Gopher… I hadn’t seen anything published about ‘Gopher’ since, well, the mid ’90s? And I hadn’t been down a ‘Gopher hole’, since about ’95. I thought it was long gone, how wrong I was.
Mac OS X 10.4.9 has just been released and the good news is that the Mac now supports the a Sony GPS CS1 [Amazon Link] unit.
It appears that there is some good news, and some bad news, with the latest update of iPhoto (to 6.0.6). The good news is it supports latitude and longitude data and doesn’t destroy the data on editing. The bad news is, iPhoto still doesn’t seem to support user comments and information added to photos, it can’t be displayed, and is lost on export.
An interesting piece in the Guardian today… which answers the question: How much digital data is being produced worldwide per year?

MMISoftware has just completed another update of theSnowSite.com. The update did not change the ‘look and feel’ of the website, but was an update of the ‘back-end’ database.
