Over the last 6 weeks or so I have seen a steady drop off in sales of MMISoftware programs. I hope this is due to the imminent arrival of Tiger and that people are holding off on software purchases until the release on Friday.

You are asked to produce something (a website, a computer program, whatever) for a client. You discuss the work with the client, you even get the client to sketch out (using PowerPoint or something similar) a user interface.
As you may have noticed, if you have been here before, the blog has changed!
Originally the blog was hosted over at mac.com but was moved to this location in February 2005. The move came about due to some hosting problems over at mac.com and because it was thought it was better to have the blog at the same site as the MMISoftware website.
The blog was written using iBlog. The program works ‘as described on the tin’, however, it was always a bit limiting in the html that could be created and in the design of the eventual blog.
Wow! Looks like I am in the wrong business! $369.2m in a quarter… Nice little earners those click-through ads….
Well, the blog is looking and feeling a little neglected of late. Several reasons for this but the main one is I have been very busy on a number of projects.
This week (Tuesday I believe) saw a very important birthday in the computing world, the 40th birthday of Moore’s law…
I don’t know what is more scary, that fact that the number of transistors on a chip has doubled every 24 months for the past 40 years, or the fact that Intel offered a $10,000 reward for a copy of the magazine on ebay and some one in the UK had the thing under their floor-boards!
