Major update of quickWebAlbum to version 1.5

quickWebAlbum has undergone a major update to bring it to version 1.5.

quickWebAlbum creates photograph albums from a folder of JPEG files. Two types of album can be created, one that provides a page of thumbnail images linked to large versions of the pictures, the second type of album automatically changes images to produce a ’slideshow’.

The major change is the addition of an ‘Advanced Settings’ option for the ’standard’ album. The advanced settings allows the user to: add a title the album window; add a tilte to the main (front) page of the ‘non-automatic’ album; add introductory text to the main (front) album page (‘non-automatic’ albums only); include the file name on with the pictures on the front page and/or on the album pages (‘non-automatic’ albums only); and add a copyright notice (with additional text) and a ‘time-stamp’ of creation to the main (front) and album pages (‘non-automatic’ albums only).

In addition, the update includes improvements in the format and quality of the HTML output, a minor improvement in a ‘JPEG size issue’ and improvements in memory handling.
