Minor update to iCalMaker

iCalMaker has been updated to 1.7.1

This update deals with a couple of rare bugs that were causing iCalMaker to incorrectly handle what I would describe as ‘detached repeating day-long events’ and ‘deleted repeating day-long events’. So, what is a ‘detached repeating day-long events’. This is when you have an ‘all-day’ event which is repeated over multiple days. If you edit one of the events, e.g. you change it description from ‘holiday’ to ‘last day of holiday’, the event is still ‘attached’ (associated) with the repeats but has now become ‘detached’ in that it has its own entry in the calendar file!

A ‘deleted repeating day-long event’ would occur if you had, say, a daily repeating event that went on for 5 days and one or more of the events were deleted in the repeat!

Is that clear!?

The update is free to registered users and can be downloaded from MMISoftware at http://www.mmisoftware.co.uk/downloads/icalmaker.dmg.sit.

The program is a 487 KB download and an activation code, which costs $30 (USD), can be purchased from our store – a demo version is available.
