PhotoInfoEditor is easy to use!
With PhotoInfoEditor it is possible to rapidlyedit or add 'meta-data' to a picture/photo (the program supports a wide range of image formats including JPEG, TIFF and RAW images) file. Once this data has been added it stays associated with the file unless the file is re-written by a program that does not support 'meta-data'.
On the application disk image there is a folder (Pict) containing 10 photo files (with_data_1.jpg - with_data_5.jpg, and without_data_1.jpg - without_data_5.jpg). Five of the files are already 'geotagged' and have description/summary meta-data, and five are not. If the photos are loaded in to the program (this can be done by using either the 'Load Photos' button or by 'dragging and dropping' the photos on the program window or application icon) then the data can be viewed and photo locations seen on the map.
All the data can be changed, or added to.
To change/add latitude and longitude data: If the photo does not have a marker (i.e. no latitude or longitude data) then click the 'Add Marker' button and move the marker to the location (click on it to drag it) at which the photo was taken.
To change/add city/location/country data: If you move a marker associated with a photo then the latitude and longitude data will be automatically updated. This information can also be changed manual for a selected photo (or for multiple selected photos) by clicking on the city, area or country location and typing in the new information. Note: if after adding such data the Marker is moved the manually added data will be overwritten.
To change/add photo descriptions: In the space provided (Description and/or Comments) add your comments and description. This information can added/edited for a selected photo, or for multiple selected photos.
Photos can be saved (with their data) by using the 'Save Pictures' button.
