-
Version 1.0
First release.
Features:
- Import photos (jpeg files) for adding/editting picture 'meta-data' (pictures can be viewed as a small thumbnail or as a larger picture by double-clicking on the thumbnail image)
- Individually or bulk change names of photos
- Import GPS track data from GPX files
- Add photo location coordinates (latitude and longitude) to single or multiple photos by placing a pointer on a map and dragging the pointer to a specific location
- Manually add latitude and longitude data to single or multiple photos
- Automatically add photo location coordinates (latitude and longitude) to numerous photos by automatically finding the 'best match' coordinates in the GPS data for one picture, and then using the creation dates of other pictures to find 'best matches'. The 'best match' can be found by:
- Finding the 'best match' to known coordinates in the GPS data and then calculating a 'time offset' to match the GPS track times to the picture file creation times
- By placing a marker on the map and finding the 'best match' in the in the GPS data for those coordinates and then calculating a 'time offset' to match the GPS track times to the picture file creation times
- By finding the 'best match' between a picture file's creation time/date and a time in the GPS track data. The creation time of the picture can be 'offset' to allow for differences in 'camera time' v. 'GPS time'
- Automatically add photo location details such as nearest town name, country region / area, and country for a given set of coordinates
- Add a photo description text to individual and multiple photos
- Covert between different latitude and longitude formats, i.e. degrees (e.g. 56.328698); degree and minutes (e.g. 56° 19.72183'); and degrees, minutes and seconds (e.g. 56° 19' 43'')
- Save edited meta-data for later completion
- Save edited photos
- Automatic version checking (can be disabled)
