MMISoftware writes programs for the Apple Macintosh computer platform (Mac OS X), the iPhone and iPod Touch and also develops websites and 'web-applications' for clients.
The programs for Mac OS X and iPhone and iPod Touch are written using Apple Computer development tools (Xcode) and the Cocoa language (i.e. they run natively and hence use all the advantages of OS X). As a result the programs are only available for the Macintosh, and iPhone and iPod Touch.
MMISoftware makes a range of products for the Mac, the iPhone and the iPod Touch. Our software for the Macintosh includes iCalMaker, PhotoGPSEditor, PhotoInfoEditor, Power on X, and BMI Calculator. For the iPhone and iPod Touch we produce: bodyCal.
Web development is carried out in HTML (with cascading style sheets), php, Javascript (including AJAX), and MySQL. And we have produced websites for Quartz Finance Ltd., Court Park Properties Ltd., Cheltenham School of Sport and Remedial Massage (CSSRM), Willow Farm Bed and Breakfast, cal.culate.it, mapped.at, and thesnowsite.com. As well as some private contract and consultancy work on assessment and work submission for a college.
